Message from Mrs. O on Lunch Room
A message from Mrs. O:
Please be sure to check your student’s lunch account balance and repay any amount that is owed to the cafeteria. I am obligated to pay off any negative balances that remain after the last day of school. This is also a good time to deposit enough funds to cover lunches through the end of the school year. Remaining balances will carry over to the new year.

Bells Mill Bash — Details & Call for Volunteers!
The annual PTA-sponsored Bells Mill Bash will be held this Friday June 2 from 5:30-8:00pm (RAIN OR SHINE).** This is NOT a Drop Off Event **
There will be multiple inflatables, a rock wall for climbing, face painting, various crafts, popcorn, cotton candy, a DJ and food trucks. (FOOD TRUCK PURCHASES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE OF WRIST BANDS – a percentage of food truck sales will benefit the Bells Mill PTA)

Scoop Night & Restaurant Night Tonight! 5/25
Celebrity Scoop Night is coming! First, dine at Gregorios and then grab ice cream scooped by your favorite BMES staff… or have a “progressive” dinner and eat ice cream first! The school year is almost over so ice cream for dinner counts too!

The Geography Bowl is less than two weeks away – Volunteers Needed!
Our Geography Bowl is coming up soon! Each 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade class will be sending a team of students to the Bowl. This year, the Bowl will be held on June 5 from 10:15-11:30am (3rd grade), June 6 from 9:30-11am (4th grade), and June 7 from 9:30-11am (5th grade). We need emcees, judges, time keepers, and score keepers to make this event a success for the students who have worked so hard to complete their packets and study their geography facts.

Kurt Shanfield Math Enrichment Fund
To honor the memory of Mrs. Kurt Shanfield we have established the Kurt Shanfield Math Enrichment Fund. Please send donations to the main office (checks made payable to Bells Mill ES). All funds go to the purchase of math enrichment materials for the students and staff at Bells Mill. All of us loved and admired Mrs. Shanfield, and this will allow us to celebrate her life and commitment to students and their learning. Questions, Ms. DeMarino at 240-740-0480.
International Night — Friday Night!
Bells Mill International Festival is on Friday, May 12 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Come learn more about different customs and cultures from our own community!
