This Saturday, February 7, join us for the PTA-sponsored movie night. We will be showing “The Lorax!”  The event is free for all Bells Mill families.  Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.  Pizza from Potomac Pizza will be available for purchase for the first hour or for as long as supplies last, as well as ice cream from Carmen’s.  It is NOT a drop off event.  Kids are welcome to bring blankets and to wear PJ’s, just make sure they are wearing shoes.… Read Full Post

Once again we will split the Talent Show between primary and secondary grades

• The Talent show date for k-2 has switched to  Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m.
• The Talent show for 3-5 stays the same and will be Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m.

Shortly we will provide more details on rehearsals and rules for the talent show, but we wanted to note the change in date for this popular and fun PTA-sponsored event.

Due to the snow day, Class and Group photos have been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 3, beginning promptly at 9:25 am.  All homeroom classes will be photographed, as well as the following groups:  Patrols; Chorus; Instrumental Music; Best Buddies; Ambassadors; SERT/Recycling; and Student Government.  Parents will have the option to order online.  Order forms were sent home on Friday, January23.  Extra order forms are available in the office.

Attention 5th Grade Parents. Following are a few ways to start your transition to Cabin John Middle School:

• THURSDAY (tonight) Jan. 29^th from at 7 p.m. (note time change from previous email) there is a 5^th Grade Parent Orientation Meeting at Cabin John Middle School in the APR.  All 5^th grade parents are welcome to hear more about the matriculation process to CJMS.

When MCPS cancels after school activities, it is mandatory that enrichment classes are also cancelled. It is the enrichment provider’s responsibility to notify the parents of this cancellation as soon as possible.
