Interested in FLES?

If you are interested in FLES, please register.  We are still low in several classes….Beginner Spanish needs 4 more, Intermediate Chinese is still in need of students too, French beginner and Intermediate French also need students.  We are still working with the FLES office to see how they want to handle our start date.

Students: Have a Favorite BMES Teacher? Tell the Gazette and Enter to Win a Kindle Fire

The Gazette is running an essay contest encouraging Montgomery County students are encouraged to submit a short essay about their favorite teacher now through Monday, October 6th to be entered to win an Amazon Kindle Fire HDX!

Community Restaurant Night TONIGHT

BACK TO SCHOOL COMMUNITY RESTAURANT NIGHT @BGR

TONIGHT — Thursday, September 18 @ 4 p.m., Cabin John BGR. Take a night off from cooking and join BMES friends between 4 p.m an 9 p.m. Mention “BMES” when ordering and a percentage of sales will go to PTA programming.

Odyssey of the Mind: Mandatory Meeting Tonight

 Attention Gr. 1-5: There will be a Parent Information Meeting for those interested in learning about the BMES Odyssey of the Mind program on Wednesday evening, September 17 from 7:30-8:30 in the APR. Odyssey of the Mind demonstrates that creativity can be taught, stimulated and improved with practice. Students use their artistic, theatrical and engineering skills to create new solutions to intriguing problems; they learn to “think outside the box” and develop valuable skills that will be essential for success in the 21st Century.Read Full Post

Cub Scout Information Meeting

CUB SCOUTING IS AWESOME!

It’s fun with a purpose.  Cub Scouts do their best and have fun doing it.

Cub Scout Pack #54 serves 1st through 5th grade boys from Bells Mill and Seven Locks Elementary Schools.
