Field Day Update from Mrs. O

Field Day is almost here!  Field Day wraps up a great year of achievement in a variety of physical education objectives.  We downplay the competitive aspects of Field Day and emphasize success and a sense of accomplishment for every student.

Field Day will be on Thursday, May 15, 9:30-11:45 AM (rain date is May 28).  Please mark your calendars.  It is important that your children dress appropriately for physical activities.  This means wearing loose clothing, athletic shoes and sun block. … Read Full Post

Come Play With Us! — Recess Volunteers Needed

We are in need of volunteers to join the kids on the playground for outdoor recess and in the classrooms for indoor recess, and also to provide extra sets of hands during lunch.  Ideally we will have three volunteers for each of the three recess/lunch shifts each day as follows:
Grades 1, 4:  11:10-11:40 (recess) and 11:40-12:10 (lunch) — this is an area where we need more help if possible
Grades K, 3   11:45-12:15 (recess) and 12:15-12:45 (lunch)
Grades 2, 5   12:20-12:50 (recess) and 12:50-1:20 (lunch)
The link to the updated sign-up is below.
