Bells Mill will be sponsoring a Parent Night at 7:00 at Beverly Farms ES with Wayside, Potomac, and Beverly Farms.  We are having Pam Mintz from YMCA Parenting Programs present on Parenting and Social Skills.  The event will go from 7:00-8:15.

The topics discussed will complement the social/emotional learning topics discussed at the January PTA meeting with Ms. Hall-Bell and Mrs. Kanter.

On Saturday February 8 join us for the PTA-sponsored movie night. We will be showing Smurfs 2!

The event will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is NOT a drop off event.

Parents are asked to bring a potluck appetizer or dessert to share. We also have some volunteer — SSL and Adult — slots that will make the evening run smoothly!

Following a brief business meeting the 5^th grade teaching team will present on “How to Support your Childs Learning.”  This presentation will discuss study habits, student organization, and student responsibility with the goal of having parents understand the importance of students being able to plan for success, problem solve, and advocate for oneself.
