BMES Skate Night, This Saturday, 12/15

Bells Mill Skate Night This Saturday!

Come join your friends for an evening on the ice as Bells Mill takes over Cabin John Ice Arena from 6:30 to 8:00pm.  For those skaters who are preregistered simply visit the registration table to retrieve your entry and skate rental tickets.  If you did not preregister you can still take part. Stop by the Ice Arena ticket booth to pay your entry fee.

Calling Chefs & Bakers for Holiday Staff Appreciation Lunch

The annual Holiday Staff Appreciation lunch will be next week, Thursday, December 20th and we need your help to provide a delicious, holiday-worthy, spread!

This luncheon is our opportunity during this holiday season to show our Bells Mill teachers and staff how grateful we are for all that they do for our children.

Media Center Needs Volunteers!

The Media Center has a variety of volunteering opportunities on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons (after 12:30). No prior  experience necessary and Mrs. Floyd is happy to provide training. Any amount of time you can volunteer is truly needed and greatly appreciated!

With the holidays approaching there are lots of fun ways to support BMES:

* Boxtops. We always have a box to collect Boxtops (on cereal, canned goods and more from products made by General Mills/Pillsbury) at the front entrance of school.

Final Call — Read-a-Thon — Pay Pledges Online or Via Check

Thanks to all who have submitted their Read-a-Thon pledge money. For those who haven’t, please consider making your donation this week. Bells Mill had super readers during the drive and the pizza party and prizes to encourage reading were a big hit. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and every single penny goes straight to our PTA. We have less checks/money in than last year, so please remember your pledges. BMES Wellness Initiative — Used Exercise Equipment

Ms. Vicenty is the Wellness Leader for the new Bells Mill Wellness Initiative for our community.
If anyone has any used exercise equipment they don’t use anymore and would like to donate it to the school to set up a workout room for staff she can help coordinate. Please note that the school does not want new equipment, only donations of fitness/exercise items that are no longer in use.
