Mrs. Kirby’s School-wide Art Show Next Thursday; Help Needed

Mrs. Kirby’s School Art Show is next week, Thursday November 15th, from 6-7pm. Each child will have one work of art on display.

Mrs. Kirby would like to offer free face painting and cider to help make the event exciting.

Zoe’s Restaurant Day — Next Wednesday

Thanksgiving is just around the corner – take a break and get out of your kitchen! Join us at our dine out event with Zoe’s Kitchen (12505 Park Potomac Ave, Ste 115, Potomac) Wednesday, November 14 anytime from 11am to 9pm. Just say you are with BMES and the school will get 20% of sales for the entire day. Please note that this applies for lunch and dinner!

A reminder that Kelly Dorfman is speaking at the Bells Mill PTA meeting Wednesday, Nov. 7th at 7pm. She is an acclaimed area speaker and is also recommended frequently to parents who have children with behavioral or food issues. This PTA speaker is one the few that the PTA is actually paying for and she is worth it! She is a great speaker and very knowledgeable. New Chess, Art Classes Start Next Week — Sign Up Today!

As fall sports end, consider after-school activities onsite at Bells Mill: new chess and art enrichment classes are beginning NEXT WEEK. Sign up today!

  • Superintendent Joshua P. Starr will deliver his first State of the Schools address at The Music Center at Strathmore on November 12, 2012. Please join Dr. Starr as he shares his vision for the future and we gather to celebrate the outstanding students of Montgomery County Public Schools. Help Us Help Stepping Stones

There is still time to support our Walk for Homeless.  No need to register and you can donate as little as $5!  We are $643 away from last year’s amount raised for Stepping Stones Shelter. Sock Hop, Tomorrow, 10/26

The Sock hop is Friday 10/26 from 7-8:30. Tickets are $5 at the door and parents MUST stay with their children. Come dressed in 50s attire, socks and ready to have fun!
