A few notes of county-wide news:
- Superintendent Joshua P. Starr will deliver his first State of the Schools address at The Music Center at Strathmore on November 12, 2012. Please join Dr. Starr as he shares his vision for the future and we gather to celebrate the outstanding students of Montgomery County Public Schools. Breakfast is at 7:30 a.m.; followed at 8:30 a.m. by Dr. Starr’s presentation. Please RSVP by November 1, 2012, at www.mcpsstateoftheschools.org. The event should conclude by 9:30 a.m.
- The MCCPTA new website, www.mccpta.org, has been launched. This useful tool is a resource for PTA members, parents, and school staff as well to showcase what PTA volunteers in Montgomery County are doing to help every student achieve.
