- Congratulations and thank you to the 4th/5th grade chorus and Mrs. Vinson for a fantastic walk down memory lane. We enjoyed their presentation of Elvis Presley hits. A few of us remember when those songs were new.
- Congratulations and best wishes to Sarah and Zev Kanter on the birth of their daughter! Dalia was born on May 13, at 11:34 pm, weighing in at 5lb. 13 oz. The Kanters are enjoying time together with their new addition and with big brother Nathaniel.
- This is a reminder to all parents who paid a deposit for Camp Bells Mill/Kinder Camp, in order to complete registration please make your final payment now.
- Attention volunteers, all Bells Mill volunteers are invited to our annual Volunteer Breakfast on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, 8:30-9:15 am, in the staff lounge. Each year we take this opportunity to show our appreciation for all you do. If you have helped in the classroom, monitored recess, chaperoned a field trip, tutored a child, or helped in any way, please be our guest. Send RSVP forms to the main office or just show up.
- Thanks to Mr. Romans for another great field day! He spent many hours preparing for this special event. Thanks to all of the staff and parents who were there to cheer on the kids.
- Please remember to replenish your student’s lunch account. Student lunch accounts are running low. Now is a good time to make a deposit that will cover lunches through the end of the school year. Any remaining balance will carry over to next year. The school is responsible for paying any negative balances that remain at the end of the school year. If your child owes money to the cafeteria please make a deposit as soon as possible.
- You can sponsor a deserving child for Camp Bells Mill. Send in your tax deductible contribution (checks made payable to Bells Mill Bear Hug Fund), and your donation will help defray the cost of tuition. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
- Check out the Lost & Found area on the stage for your child’s missing belongings. Any remaining items will be donated to charity when school ends in June. We also have several pairs of eyeglasses in the office.
- Churchill Boys Soccer offers spring youth clinics for boys in grades 1–5. Train with the varsity soccer team and coach. All skill levels are welcome. Clinics are offered on Friday, May 30, and Friday, June 6. Cost is $40 per clinic, or $70 for both.
