There are many ways to be a part of the PTA. The board can accommodate roles for moms or dads; full-time working parents or those with pre-schoolers still at home.

The Bells Mill Elementary School PTA is excited to announce a community-wide event featuring human rights and peace advocate Martin Luther King, III, son of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Thursday March 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Cabin John Middle School all purpose room. It is with tremendous pride that I proudly report that the results of the Maryland State Reflections competition have been released. Whether or not you are on this list of state winners, to make it to this level of competition is an accomplishment in itself. Congratulations to all of you. We certainly hope that you will enter the Reflections Program again next year and share your art with us!
The awards for the State level are as follows:
Outstanding Interpretation of Theme: Certificate, Trophy, 3 Complimentary tickets to the MD PTA Reflections Awards Celebration at our State Convention in July and $75
Award of Excellence: Certificate, Ribbon and $50
Award of Merit: Certificate and $25
As a reminder, only those students who placed with “Outstanding Interpretation of Theme” move on to the National Competition.

Winter Weather Policy
When MCPS cancels after school activities, it is mandatory that enrichment classes are also cancelled. It is the enrichment provider’s responsibility to notify the parents of this cancellation as soon as possible.
