International Night, This Friday, May 3!

Take a trip around the world at Bells Mill International Night on May 3rd from 7-9pm! Pick up your passport and goodies (Bring Your Own Bag) and join us for an evening of fun and learning as we explore 20 countries and cultures. Get your passport picture taken at the photo booth! Sing along in Spanish or even learn to dance an Irish jig! There will be door prizes and samples of delicious food.
There will be a Parade of Nations open to all students.

Staff Appreciation Week — Next Week!

Staff appreciation is NEXT WEEK! Let’s spend the week of May 6th-May 10th showing the teachers and staff of Bells Mill just how much we appreciate the work that they do for our students!

Last Chance: Odyssey of the Mind Fundraising — Now Online & Ends 5/6

As you know, two of our Odyssey of the Mind teams will be attending the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals in East Lansing, Michigan in late May.  They continue to need our help in raising funds to get there.  Travel and registration costs are high, and every little bit helps.  Donating is quite easy. Thanks to Adriana Marques and Brian Lewis for organizing a great Science Fair last week and for all the parents who helped their children with projects.

Last Restaurant Night of the Year — Wed., May 1 @ Potomac Pizza

Please join us at Potomac Pizza in the village on Wednesday, May 1st from 4pm to 9pm for the last Bells Mill Restaurant Night of the year. Dine in the restaurant or carry out and Potomac Pizza will donate 20% of the proceeds back to Bells Mill (does not include delivery sales). Please make sure to tell your server that you are with Bells Mill!

It is almost time to vote for a new PTA board for the 2013-14 school year and it is not too late to throw your hat into the ring.
