Scoop Night & Restaurant Night Tonight! 5/25
Celebrity Scoop Night is coming! First, dine at Gregorios and then grab ice cream scooped by your favorite BMES staff… or have a “progressive” dinner and eat ice cream first! The school year is almost over so ice cream for dinner counts too!

The Geography Bowl is less than two weeks away – Volunteers Needed!
Our Geography Bowl is coming up soon! Each 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade class will be sending a team of students to the Bowl. This year, the Bowl will be held on June 5 from 10:15-11:30am (3rd grade), June 6 from 9:30-11am (4th grade), and June 7 from 9:30-11am (5th grade). We need emcees, judges, time keepers, and score keepers to make this event a success for the students who have worked so hard to complete their packets and study their geography facts.

Kurt Shanfield Math Enrichment Fund
To honor the memory of Mrs. Kurt Shanfield we have established the Kurt Shanfield Math Enrichment Fund. Please send donations to the main office (checks made payable to Bells Mill ES). All funds go to the purchase of math enrichment materials for the students and staff at Bells Mill. All of us loved and admired Mrs. Shanfield, and this will allow us to celebrate her life and commitment to students and their learning. Questions, Ms. DeMarino at 240-740-0480.

International Night — Friday Night!
Bells Mill International Festival is on Friday, May 12 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Come learn more about different customs and cultures from our own community!

The Annual Science Fair is coming to Bells Mill!
Please Note: Georgetown Hill has an event planned for the same time, and they request that Bells Mill parents not park in their lot. It might be necessary for you to park on the street Friday evening. Thank you from the Georgetown Hill staff.

On Tuesday, May 9 at 7 p.m. the Cabin John Middle School PTSA will host a brief PTSA and school business meeting will be followed by family board games and desserts in the cafeteria.
