Homework struggles an issue in your home? Then we have the speakers for you!
Following the business meeting there will be a brief presentation by Laura Nash from Huntington Learning Center titled “Homework: A Parent’s Survival Guide” Afterwards our featured speaker is from the YMCA Youth and Family Services who will be speaking on the topic “ Homework Hassles – Encouraging Student Responsibility”
And starting in January, the PTA will be fielding parent questions and making these questions a focus at the monthly meetings. We want our PTA to be a forum for ideas and questions from parents. Have something you’d like the PTA to discuss? Submit it two ways: 1) At the December PTA meeting you can write it down and submit in a basket at the meeting. 2) You can drop it by the front office in the PTA mailbox. We prefer write-in questions so that we have the time to research and accurately address your questions/ideas.
