Two BMES Students Win at State Level for Arts Relfection Program

Dear Bells Mill Elementary School,

It is with tremendous pride that I proudly report that the results of the Maryland State Reflections competition have been released. Whether or not you are on this list of state winners, to make it to this level of competition is an accomplishment in itself. Congratulations to all of you. We certainly hope that you will enter the Reflections Program again next year and share your art with us!

The awards for the State level are as follows:

Outstanding Interpretation of Theme: Certificate, Trophy, 3 Complimentary tickets to the MD PTA Reflections Awards Celebration at our State Convention in July and $75


Award of Excellence: Certificate, Ribbon and $50


Award of Merit:  Certificate and $25


 

As a reminder, only those students who placed with “Outstanding Interpretation of Theme” move on to the National Competition.

The date and time of the MCCPTA Gallery art show has not yet been released.  I expect to hear from them any time now.  Whenever they release the information, I will pass it along your way.  As a reminder all 27 Bells Mill entries will be on display at the Gallery Art Show and Awards ceremony.  The artists who won at the county level will receive their awards at the MCCPTA Gallery Arts Show.
