The PTA sends its best wishes to the amazing Bells Mill staff as we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! We appreciate your commitment to our students, quality education and partnership. We’ve had a lot of fun celebrating staff this week! We appreciate how our families, room parents, administration and PTA have partnered to show teachers how much they mean to us!

Last week we shared an incredible celebration of the school’s diversity! We appreciate the many families who created displays, shared traditions, and offered food samples so we can better understand each other’s cultures. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! On Tuesday, the PTA held its final general meeting of the school year. We elected the officers for next year and approved the proposed budget. In addition, Dr. Smith and Mrs. Kemp provided helpful information on how classes are formed and insights into changes from one grade to the next.

Parents and PTA members are invited to attend our final general meeting of the year. It will be held at 6:30PM in the APR. This meeting is in-person only. Childcare will not be available but children are welcome to attend if needed.

The nominating committee is pleased to present the following candidates for the PTA officer and delegate roles for next year. We would like to thank these volunteers for coming forward as well as the outgoing board for their tremendous contribution over the past year. The PTA will hold elections on May 2 at 6:30 PM in the APR.

The PTA board has developed the following proposed agenda for the ’23-’24 school year (beginning July 1, 2023). This budget will be voted on at the general membership meeting on May 2, 2023 at 6:30PM in the APR.

Visit 19 countries in one night! The BMES International Festival will be held on Friday, April 28 at 6-7:30. Visit country displays, watch performances, and make crafts. Please note that this IS NOT a drop off event and all students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
