The PTA sponsored Bells Mill Ice Skating night is this Saturday, November 5, 2016 (6:30-8p).  Pre-Registration is now closed, but all are welcome to join in on this fun community night and pay door prices for rink time and skate rentals.

Help Make Our Yearbook Awesome! Submit Halloween Parade/Party Photos!

As classrooms start to head on field trips and with Halloween parties around the corner, help us make our yearbook awesome by submitting photos for consideration. Gifted Child Information Session Next Wed, Nov. 2

During the 2016-2017 school year, the MCCPTA Gifted Child Committee will continue the tradition of bringing a series of information night meetings to MCPS parents and GT liaisons.  Here is information on the first meeting.

Club Bells Mill THIS Weekend– Volunteers NEEDED!

The first Club Bells Mill will be on Saturday, October 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.! Please see the club-bells-mill-informational-flyer for more details. We need volunteers for this to be safe and fun!!

Weekly Volunteer Position Needed for PTA in School

The PTA is seeking a copy chair to volunteer in the school one day a week. The copy chair will pick one day/time per week to go to the copy room and help make copies for the PTA. PTA committee chairs will send the desired material to the copy chair within a determined timeframe. The PTA supplies all paper and materials. Mandatory MCPS Volunteer Training (30 Min. Online)

*** THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL AND YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY FROM VOLUNTEERING***

MCPS has initiated for the 2016-2017 school year mandatory child abuse and neglect training for all volunteers.  All volunteers who regularly support schools need to complete the online module, “Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect for Volunteers and Contractors,” which is accessed on the MCPS website.

Lunch/recess, field trip, media and classroom volunteers MUST take the training.
