MCCPTA Gifted and Talented Parent Information Night — Open to All

On Wednesday, November 4, 2015, MCCPTA GCC will hold a GT Liaison training event (MCCPTA Gifted and Talented Parent Information Night) focused on elementary school GT education information.
The event is open to all parents whoever interested.  There will be a 40 min presentation by
– Siobhan Alexander, Director of Elementary Integrated Curriculum Team, MCPS
– Meredith Casper, Director of Accelerated and Enriched Instruction, MCPS
Time: 7pm to 9pm

Club Bells Mill — Volunteer Link Open/Membership Form

Club Bells Mill is THIS SATURDAY, October 24!

Parents: we need Volunteers http://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A054EA8AA5-club. We cannot have a safe event without enough parent volunteers!

Club Bells Mill is a great time at Bells Mill! It’s a community event that requires membership or a drop in fee. Parents are asked to volunteer a couple times during the year; and then are free to “drop off” for a couple hours for dinner! Scholastic BookFair — Volunteers & Evening Community Events

The annual Scholastic Book Fair starts Friday with our grand opening on Monday, October 12. We still need volunteers so please consider donating a couple of hours if you can!

Our goal is 100% participation in the PTA and we’re more than halfway there. Can you help get us get there by next week, mid-October? We’ve already sponsored assemblies, are bringing the Book Fair to the media center and have two community events planned for next week!
