Movie Night @ Bells Mill, Saturday February 11

On Saturday February 11th, join us for the PTA-sponsored movie

night. We will be showing “The Secret Life of Pets!” The event is free

for all Bells Mill families, and each child will receive a popcorn and

water. Pizza from Potomac Pizza will be available for purchase.

Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. (enter through the AP room outside

door). Show time will begin at approximately 6:00 p.m.

This Friday, feb 3 from 4-7 the Scotland Community Center and the Bells Mill PTA will sponsor FRIDAY FUN DAY at the Scotland community center. This is a drop off event for all bmes students. BINGO Night coordinator. The permits have been pulled and most of the night has been planned, but we need someone to help execute this annual community night.

Long-Term:

Seeking a PTA president for the 2017-2018 school year. NOW is the time to jump in so that you can shadow the current president during the busy spring event season.

February 7 PTA Meeting Speakers Announced!

The next PTA meeting is Tuesday, February 7 at 7 p.m. in the Media Center.

We are excited to announce that Lisa Miller, Math Support, and Lindsay Wilkes, Reading Specialist, will be presenting on how to help your child at home in math and in reading. Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Wilkes will share ideas and resources to assist parents in working with their children and supporting the reading and math programs at Bells Mill.

This email is to remind all of the schools to please HOLD THE DATE for our next big meeting which is actually the Board of Education Meeting for our cluster.

At the last meeting we all decided that the host location for this Churchill Cluster / BOE meeting on March 16, 2017 (TH night) would be Potomac Elementary School. Thank you to the other schools that also offered their locations.
