Screenagers Coming to Bells Mill Next Week — Monday, December 5!

Bells Mill is very excited to announce that we have been selected to screen the award-winning documentary, Screenagers about what it’s like to grown up in the digital age.
Bells Mill will show the movie on Monday December 5 at 7:15. There will be a brief meeting prior to the film screening to replace the originally scheduled December PTA meeting.
We are very fortunate to have received a site license for this movie. We are encouraging parents to bring their children in grades 5th and up.

Box Tops for Education

As you start to shop for Thanksgiving and holiday season baking don’t forget your Box Tops!!
Clipping Box Tops is an easy way to help earn cash for our school. Just look for the pink Box Tops on hundreds of products. All you have to do is clip them and send them to school with your child. There is a Box Top collection bin in the entrance of the school where they can be deposited.
Last year, grades K-5 competed to see which class could bring in the most Box Tops for the year.

Math Kangaroo Comes Back to Bells Mill!

Math Kangaroo is an international mathematics competition that takes place annually in March.  Bells Mill students in 1st -5th grade can participate along with over 20,000 students across US, and even more students around the world, by challenging themselves to individually solve word problems using the mathematical knowledge they already know.  Everyone wins in Math Kangaroo! Each registered student is awarded a t-shirt, a certificate of participation and a gift on test day.
