The PTA is in need of a treasurer for next year! This is a vital position for the PTA and is necessary per our bylaws. The treasurer cannot serve more than 2 years. If you are interested, please contact Shelley Hyland ([email protected]). Shelley will be around next year and will provide guidance as needed.

The next general PTA meeting will be on March 5th at 6:30pm in the Media Center, immediately following the Science Fair informational meeting. All parents are encouraged to attend! We will have a discussion with school staff about recess safety and activities. We will also discuss the status of our budget this year and the results of our fundraising survey for the 2019-2020 school year. The PTA Science Fair committee offers an information and planning session for families interested in participating in the 2019 Bells Mill ES Science Fair on April 12th. We encourage parents who are interested in supporting the science project teams to attend this session to receive guidelines and to share their ideas. The meeting will be held in the Media Center at 6pm on March 5th, before the general PTA meeting.

During International night our students get to celebrate the cultural diversity of our school community. This includes ethnic food tastings, cultural performance, a global fashion show, crafts, and info table for each country, a photo booth, passports and other giveaways. Students and their families explore different countries without having to hop on a plane!

We are seeking new and enthusiastic committee co-chairs to coordinate this year’s International Night with the support of the PTA. If you are interested in co-chairing this event, the ideal parents would be able to help next year as well.… Read Full Post

Mark the dates: Unique opportunity for our Bells Mill students and our incoming kindergarten students for the school year 2019-2020. We have tentatively set the dates for our very own Camp Bells Mill from July 1 through July 19. The cost will be $200 per week.
