Last Day of School Signs

3 Volunteers Needed for 1 hour for financial review!

At the end of each Fiscal Year we are required to have the books of the Bells Mill Elementary PTA undergo a financial review. This is not an audit, you do not need to be a CPA or financial professional to volunteer, and the entire commitment shouldn’t take more than 1-2 hours. Under Maryland PTA rules, a committee of three people need to perform the review by reviewing the bank statements, check register and other documents from the 2020-2021 year and confirm them to be correct.… Read Full Post

Tonight! California Tortilla Fundraiser & Celebrity Scoop Night – May 26

Join the PTA tonight for two fundraisers to support Bells Mill, including appearances by your favorite Bells Mill staff at Baskin Robbins!

California Tortilla in Cabin John Shopping Center will donate 25% of group sales on Wednesday, May 26 to Bells Mill (11AM-8PM). In store pickup, curbside pickup, or delivery are available. Indoor dining is available, but online ordering in advance is recommended.

Last Week! Shop the BMES Scholastic Book Fair

Our virtual Scholastic Book Fair is underway! 25% of sales go to Bells Mill to buy books for classrooms and students in need. Last year’s fair allowed the school to purchase classroom sets of novels for the reading curriculum and social-emotional learning lessons. Churchill Cluster Elementary School Parent Coffee: Race & Equity – June 4

Please join the Churchill Cluster Elementary School Principals, School Staff, and Central Office Staff to engage in conversations about race and equity on Friday, June 4th, 9:30am. Zoom link to be provided by the school.

We will discuss:

  • the importance of talking about race and racism and how it exists in our community
  • the importance of collaborating together as a cluster

Weekend Food Trucks @ Bells Mill

New PTA Board and Budget Approved for Next Year
