Bells Mill and its PTA have been so lucky to have the support of so many businesses in our community. During these challenging times, we encourage you to support the businesses who have supported us with donations over the years! Restaurants that often support Bells Mill include Tally-Ho Restaurant, Potomac Pizza, Gregorios, California Tortilla, Baskin Robbins, and Shake Shack. Show your support and don’t forget to thank them for their support of Bells Mill! 

This “Embrace Ausome” program is by Walter Johnson students who have designed free, entertaining and educational after school activities for children with special needs.

Parents are invited to sign their children up for as many workshops as they want, assuming that the times don’t overlap.

The Montgomery County Council of PTAs (MCCPTA) is asking our PTA members to sign this petition to MCPS, the Board of Education, and the Montgomery County Council urging immediate action to support students with disabilities. The Peace Mountain Theatre Company is offering up a free interactive ZOOM theater experience for young viewers on Sunday, Jan 24th at 4pm. This will be a short, one-act play called “The Other” which follows four young people lost in the woods – when they find a shack and now have a decision upon them. What do they do? What would YOU do? The PTA wishes all our families and staff a happy and healthy new year! We appreciate the commitment, resilience, and support of the Bells Mill Community and we are honored to work with you all to the benefit of our students.

Right before break the staff were treated to a curbside pick-up of Crumbl cookies and a tea-themed goodie bag as small tokens of our appreciation. Bells Mill staff are amazing and we appreciate everything they are doing to make virtual learning the best it can be. Wishing all staff a happy and restful holiday break! Thanks to committee chairs Haley Iseman (Teacher Appreciation Chair) and Kemi Macaulay (Teacher Breakfast Chair) for figuring out how to pivot some of our long-standing Bells Mill traditions for modern times!
