The PTA recently installed a sharing library outside the Scotland Community Recreation Center. Feel free to take a book or leave a book! A library will be installed at Bells Mill soon too. The cost of materials came for PTA and they were built by Ben and Nora Fleischer’s grandfather. Special thanks to the Kanz family for donating a bunch of books to get us started!
On November 28, Bells Mill held its first online chess tournament. 17 contestants played for 1 1/2 hours! Congratulations to all the participants! Everyone competed hard and showed the best sportsmanship! So proud of everyone who participated! The top 5 rankings are below:
· 1st place- Dennis Feketekuty (K) (12 wins, 0 lost)
· 2nd place- Sam Nielson (2nd grade) (10 wins, 2 losses)
· 3rd place- Luke Feketekuty (2nd grade) (8 wins, 2 losses)
· 4th place- Noah Schraeder (5th grade) (4 wins, 5 losses)
· 5th place- Lyla Acadia (5th grade) (3 wins, 1 lost, 1 draw)

Restaurant Night is around the corner! Come to Potomac Pizza on Wednesday, November 25 from 4-8pm, tell them you’re with BMES and they’ll donate a portion of the proceeds to our PTA!
Join the PTA for a virtual meeting and conversation with Dr. Smith and Mrs. Kanter. To keep our meeting secure, the zoom link will be sent out in the morning of Dec. 7th by Dr. Smith so please keep an eye on your email.
Bells Mill families and staff are invited to join a chairobics session led by a Bells Mill parent. It will be held this Saturday, November 28th at 11am. Unwind, de-stress, relax and reconnect with your families together through this yoga based aerobics routine involving deep breathing, stretching and gentle body movements on/with a chair.
