MCPS Boundary Analysis – Small Group Meeting Sign Up (Sessions begin TODAY)

MCPS is in Phase 2 of the Boundary Analysis which involves the use of the interactive boundary explorer tool developed by the consultant supporting the effort by MCPS. MCPS Families Helping Families Campaign

FAMILIES HELPING FAMILIES is a coordinated community partnership between MCCPTA, MCPS, and the MCPS Educational Foundation.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has deeply impacted many families in Montgomery County. The MCPS Educational Foundation is asking our very giving community to support the Families Helping Families campaign. Virtual Environmental Read-Aloud Hosted By MCPS High Schoolers

Join GenGreen, an MCPS high school student run nonprofit, in a virtual environmental read-aloud on November 21st from 10:30-11:00 AM. They will be reading “Global Warming & Climate Change: With Theodore” and leading a discussion about the planet through zoom.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Looking to get into the Halloween Spirit? Join us for a Virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest.
How it works: Carve or decorate a pumpkin with your child. Then take a photo of their pumpkin and send it to [email protected] or thru our Facebook page- Bells Mill Elementary PTA. Submissions will be shared on our Facebook page.

Please include your child’s name, along with the best way to reach you if your child wins.

Submission Deadline: Friday, October 30
Winners Announced: Monday, November 2

Emergency Food for ALL Children

Just a reminder that MCPS is currently providing free meals to ALL Children under 18. They do NOT have to be MCPS Students, School age, or eligible for free meals (FARMS). If you or someone you know needs food, click here for a full list of distribution sites.

There are 74 schools and 5 additional bus drop offs on this list. There is also a list of places that weekend food is distributed. Families can pick up for ALL of their children at the same site, and 4 meals (each) are given on Wed and 6 (each) on Friday.… Read Full Post
