Last week we shared an incredible celebration of the school’s diversity! On Tuesday, the PTA held its final general meeting of the school year. We elected the officers for next year and approved the proposed budget. In addition, Dr. Smith and Mrs. Kemp provided helpful information on how classes are formed and insights into changes from one grade to the next.
Parents and PTA members are invited to attend our final general meeting of the year. It will be held at 6:30PM in the APR. This meeting is in-person only. Childcare will not be available but children are welcome to attend if needed.

Visit 19 countries in one night! The BMES International Festival will be held on Friday, April 28 at 6-7:30. Visit country displays, watch performances, and make crafts. Please note that this IS NOT a drop off event and all students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Our next PTA meeting will be held on May 2 at 6:30PM in the APR. The agenda will include board elections, approval of next year’s budget, and presentations from the school on preparing your students for moving to the next grade level and the process for class assignments.
It’s hard to believe but we need to think about next year already! While we have several current board members who will be running for re-election, there will be a few open positions to fill. We are looking for PTA board members, including President, Treasurer, and VP for Community Events. While each board member has a particular focus, we work together to support the school.
