Thank you to everyone who attended our first (and definitely not last) Trunk or Treat on Sunday! We really appreciate everyone who decorated their trunks, our SSL volunteers, 5th grade fundraising team, Georgia Karamalikis, Shara Reider and Lis Patterson for all of their work to get this event off the ground in a short period of time.

We’d like to thank all the parents who contributed their time and creativity by submitting a poster for our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. Your beautiful displays brought the rich cultures of various countries to life and inspired our students.

A special thanks to Ms. Pilar Busto and Mr. Fenton for their incredible support in making this event happen. We appreciate your continued involvement!

Enjoy a night off from cooking dinner and instead go grad some delicious pizza at Colony Grill in Cabin John Village this week (October 21-27), and help support the Bells Mill PTA! Mention BMES when dining for a chance to win a Colony Grill gift card for dinner for 10! The restaurant week continues through the weekend; this flyer has more information.

We are so excited for our 1st Bells Mill Trunk or Treat, happening on Sunday from 4:30pm-6:00pm. Everyone is welcome to join and costumes are encouraged!

The Black and Brown Coalition for Educational Equity and Excellence (BBC) is excited to invite you to an important Townhall. This event will feature special guest, MCPS Superintendent Dr. Thomas Taylor, who will discuss key issues affecting our community and schools.

Date: Wednesday, October 23, 2024
Time: 6-8pm (doors will open at 5:30pm)
Location: Wheaton HS Auditorium – 12401 Dalewood Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20906

-Childcare (for up to 80 students, k-2nd grade)
-Catered meal will be provided
-Spanish, Amharic and ASL interpretation will be available
