The PTA is excited to design the yearbook this year! Parents and staff are invited to submit photos to help us remember the school year! If you’ve got great photos of school and community events we’d like to see them! This could include:
• PTA events, including the back to school picnic, magic & muffins, and movie night
• Fall festival events and costume parade
• Spirit days
• Community service projects at the school
• Sledding at Bells Mill on snow days
• Sports teams or clubs associated with Bells Mill
• Class projects and other special memories

The PTA hosts two sharing libraries – one in front of the school and one at the Scotland Community Center. Both could use some donations of children’s books if you are clearing out your shelves. We’re so excited that the students enjoy the libraries!
Save the date for our next restaurant night at &pizza (North Bethesda-Pike & Rose location) on Wednesday, April 27 from 11 am to close. &pizza will donate 50% of sales back to BMES so please see here for ordering information.
Mark your calendar for Friday, May 6 from 5-7 for the return of the BMES International Festival. Held outside, the festival will offer displays, performances and food from around the world! Thanks to all the families who updated their information for the 2021/2022 Bells Mill Directory online through A to Z Connect. The Directory is a great way to keep everyone connected. All Bells Mill families have free access to the Directory online at this link https://bellsmillpta.membershiptoolkit.com/. Once you log in, click on Directory, and from there you can sort by Grade and/or Teacher. The April PTA meeting will be held tonight April 5, 2022 at 6:30pm on zoom. We’ll discuss our Read-a-thon fundraiser, upcoming events and PTA activities. We are excited to welcome back after school programs through FLEX academies starting after spring break. There are three programs offered. Enrollment is now open until April 7, 2022 and spots are limited. See this flyer for program offerings and registration.
