Flag Football Clinic for 3rd-8th Grade Girls
The Churchill Varsity Girls Flag Football team is hosting a flag football skills clinic for girls in 3rd–8th grade. MCPS is currently in its inaugural season for its High School Girls Flag Football program, and Churchill’s team wants to help introduce and build interest among girls in this growing sport. Flag football has even been added to the 2028 Summer Olympics!
The clinic will be held on Saturday, October 19, from 3:00PM – 5:00 PM in the Churchill Stadium. The cost is $20 per participant, and clinic activities will include fundamentals, drills, and mini-competitions led by Churchill Girls Flag Football players and coaches. All levels are welcome, as participants will be grouped by age/skill level. Please click here or review this flyer for more information.
Also, Wednesday, October 23 is Girls Flag Football Community Night. Students from cluster elementary and middle schools are invited and will receive FREE ADMISSION to attend the last home Girls Flag Football game versus Wootton at 6:00pm in the Churchill Stadium. Concessions will be open! See you there!
