Dear BMES families and teachers,
It’s time for another exciting school year to start, and an important part of Bells Mill Elementary is our PTA. We are a stronger community when all families join and actively participate in the PTA.
How much does membership cost? A membership to the PTA costs $25 per family. We invite you to join the PTA For Your Child because increasing our membership, even by one family, helps make a difference. However, membership dues account for less than 15% of our annual budget. We ask our families to consider making a donation to help us fill the gap! Consider a donation of $100 to the PTA, in addition to your membership, to help fund important enrichment opportunities for Bells Mill. However, please do what is best for your family, as any amount you give will support the potential of our students.

Why join the PTA? Through the PTA, families and teachers work together to enrich the school experience. This year we will invest more than $46,000 in Bells Mill and sponsor more than 50 programs, including the Teacher Classroom Fund, Academic Enrichment, Science Fair, STEM Night, Assemblies, Staff Appreciation, International Festival, Artist in Residence, community events, and more. It is critical that each family join and support the PTA each year to ensure the continued success of these programs.
How else can I support the PTA? Remember there are many ways to support the PTA — either financially or by volunteering your time. The PTA is a great way to engage with your child’s school and community.
