Each year the PTA supports more than 50 programs and activities to support the educational and student experience at Bells Mill. Your involvement is critical so we can continue to provide enrichment activities and support Bells Mill. This is also a great way to get to know parents, teachers, and administrators. Bear parents we need your help to make the PTA social events a success this school year! We are recruiting for 1-3 chairpersons for each of the following events:

Outdoor Movie Night- October 20, 2023

Bingo Night- January 18, 2024 

Science Fair/STEM Night- March 5, 2024

Geography Bowl- May 2024

Bells Mill Bash- June 7, 2024

Each week in Bear Post we will share information from other schools in the cluster or community events that provide opportunities to connect and help each other. If you have anything you would like to add, email [email protected]. While these are not sponsored or endorsed by the BMES PTA, we’re happy to help share information as appropriate.

Please join us for a night of fun on Friday, September 8 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm for our Back to School Picnic. We will have music, crafts, ice cream truck and more. Preorder pizza sales have closed but you are welcome to bring your own picnic. If you are interested in volunteering,  please sign up here. (HS and MS students can also volunteer for SSL Hours). We look forward to seeing you there!

We’re excited to share that Bells Mill Elementary School was recently named a 2022-2024 National PTA School of Excellence! National PTA’s School of Excellence program supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs and schools that work to improve the educational experience and school environment for every child. Bells Mill ES and Bells Mill PTA are one of only 368 PTAs and schools nationwide to be designated a 2022-2024 School of Excellence.

The Bells Mill PTA welcomes students, staff and families back to school! It’s going to be a great year! Look for our weekly Bear Post with news and information on activities, programs, and opportunities! We are happy to provide the yard card, which will be up through this afternoon for your pictures.
