Bells Mill Elementary School PTA

Join the Bells Mill PTA for breakfast at school for children and their mothers. We will provide the treats while you socialize with your children and read them a book. All BMES kids and their Moms are welcome! If mom isn’t available, feel free to send another special caretaker/family member/friend/neighbor/BMES Mom. We are requesting a $1 per person donation. Kids should bring a book for their mom to read to them.

Mark your calendars for this very important evening at Bells Mill. To celebrate our 50th Year of Excellence at Bells Mill Elementary we will be hosting a Bells Mill Reunion on May 23. During this evening celebration there will be an Open House where you can see our celebration of five decades of learning and fun. The Cabin John PTSA is thrilled to bring Like, the critically acclaimed documentary on social media and its impact on teens to our community.

We will air the movie on May 14 at 7 p.m. immediately following the PTSA meeting and general elections.

Tonight is the last night for the community conversation hosted by Montgomery County Public Schools to seek input about a systemwide school boundary analysis.  These boundaries could have an effect on all of our schools and communities!

The school board requested that MCPS’s superintendent use “external consultants to conduct an in-depth review an analysis of how existing school and cluster boundaries support or hinder the effective use of school facilities in MCPS.”

Our Kindergarten Orientation to welcome our incoming 2019-2020 class of kindergartners will take place on April 15 and 16. There will be no classes for our current kindergarten students on those two days as all four teachers are involved in the orientation process.

We are seeking volunteers to help the event run smoothly!  We only need about 2.5 hours of your time on either date so please see the Sign Up and help make the Kinder Orientation a great one for incoming families!

Please join us for the 2019 BMES Science Fair on Friday, April 12th!! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to foster their curiosity and creativity independently or with friends. Please see the Sign Up Genius to register your child’s project today!
