Girls on the Run Spring Registration Will Open on February 5th at 9:00 AM
It is time once again to register your 3rd-5th-grade daughter for the spring Girls on the Run season at Bells Mill. Girls on the Run inspires girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained coaches lead small teams through their research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities and running games. Come join the WCHS cluster families for their winter community night! Watch the girls and boys varsity basketball teams take on Blake HS. Free for all students in the cluster with games and prizes! Bring a pair of socks to donate to Stepping Stones! Tipoff at 530 for girls and 715 for the boys. Hope to see you there!
On February 2 WCHS will host their annual Booster Club Sports Gala – a parents only event that celebrates our student-athletes and is one of the largest fundraising efforts for Churchill Athletics. As you may know, the high school athletics program is funded only about 25% by the county. The rest is raised through the school athletic events and through Boosters. This is a fun and casual night at Bar Louie in Rockville. $75/person. Come on out for a fun night and help support our athletic programs!

On Friday, January 11th, join us for the PTA-sponsored Movie Night. We will be showing “Small Foot”! In lieu of an entrance fee, please bring a new or slightly used book to donate to a school in need. Each child will receive a popcorn and water. This is the chance to drop off your kids for 2 hours of fun with friends, dancing to DJ music, participating at arts and crafts, playing gym games, and more while being supervised by parent volunteers!
Included is the Spectacular Science Show from Mad Science at 6:30pm!

Every holiday season, the PTA sponsors a Holiday Luncheon to remind our amazing faculty and staff how much we appreciate them. This year, thanks to a generous donation by Gregorio’s, we will be able to offer a catered lunch and cookie exchange! The Lunch will be on Dec 19th and the Cookie Exchange on the 20th. Or, if you prefer to help with a monetary contribution, you can send in a check made out to “Bells Mill PTA” and note that it is for the “Staff Holiday Lunch”
