Virtual Community Conversation on Curriculum TONIGHT

Don’t miss an opportunity to join MCPS curriculum leaders and learn more about the new curriculum during a live presentation and virtual conversation beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14. The presentation will discuss curriculum implementation, key highlights, and available resources and supports for parents. During the live program, online questions will be answered.

The conversation will focus on the new elementary curriculum from 6–7 p.m., and the new middle school curriculum from 7:15–8:15 p.m.

There are also two parent information nights on the curriculum coming up. Parents/guardians and community members are encouraged to come learn more from MCPS staff about the three-year rollout of new curricular and instructional materials, and supports for elementary and middle English Language Arts and Math.

An Elementary Parent Information Night will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, at John F. Kennedy High School, 1901 Randolph Road in Silver Spring.

A Middle School Parent Information Night will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, at Northwood High School, 919 University Blvd. West in Silver Spring.

Childcare will be provided for children aged 4 years old and up.
