Assembly Recap: Story Tapestries Performance

On March 9, Bells Mill students enjoyed a special assembly presented by Story Tapestries in recognition of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Through engaging storytelling, movement, and performance, presenters Arianna Ross and Jessica Wallach invited students to explore themes of disability, difference, and belonging.

Using folktales such as Thumbelina, the performers encouraged students to imagine the world from different perspectives and connect with the experiences of others in a creative and meaningful way. The interactive performance captivated students across grade levels and sparked thoughtful conversations about empathy and inclusion.

We hope students continue sharing what they learned at home and reflecting on the important message that everyone’s story matters.
