Community Corner

Each week in Bear Post, we will share information from other schools in the cluster or community events that provide opportunities to connect and help each other. If you have anything you would like to add, email communications@bellsmill.org. While these are not sponsored or endorsed by the BMES PTA, we’re happy to help share information as appropriate.

Public Speaking Club for 4th and 5th Graders

Hello! My name is Kumayl Bandukwalla, and I am a Junior at Winston Churchill High school. For the past three years, I have had the opportunity to host a Public Speaking Club at Seven Locks Elementary School, an after school activity, designed to help fourth and fifth graders develop these essential skills in a fun and supportive environment. I am really excited to use my prior experience and renew the club for its fourth year to continue helping younger kids find their voice. This year, I am expanding this program to Bells Mill Elementary students.

Classes will run from 4.15pm-5.15pm on the following dates:
May 7 | May 14 | May 21 | June 11

Please fill out this form to sign up your 4th or 5th grader. If you have any questions, please email me at kbandukwalla@gmail.com.
