A note from Mr. Tom- We need your help!

Our Goal for this year is to have at least 50% of our student body to register with the Kids Heart Challenge (KHC) which is free. The 2nd goal is for students to watch the “Hands-Only CPR” video which is also free. Thank you to all those who have already registered! Click this link to begin. Time to Re-link your Harris Teeter VIC Card to Support BMES!

Support Bells Mill while you shop! Harris Teeter’s Together In Education program gives schools a chance to earn funds when you link your VIC card and shop Harris Teeter brands. It’s simple to sign up:

– Link your VIC Card https://tie.harristeeter.com/tie/login

– Enter the email associated with your VIC account

– Enter the one-time passcode sent to your email

– Search for “Bells Mill Elementary School” and click “add” to link

Indoor Movie Night Today, October 20

Due to the weather, movie night has been moved inside to the gym. Join your classmates and their families for Indoor Movie Night in the Bells Mill gymnasium today, Friday October 20, from 6.15 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Students have voted for Kung Fu Panda as the movie!

Scholastic Book Fair, October 13-20–Last Night Tonight and Day Tomorrow!

The final night of the Scholastic Book Fair is tonight from 6:00-8:00pm and the final day is tomorrow until around 12/1pm! Please be sure to stop by the Book Fair and get your final shopping done!

Magic & Muffins, October 14

Join us on Saturday, October 14 at 10 a.m. in the All Purpose Room (APR) for Magic & Muffins. This will be a fun-filled morning tailored to our younger students (Headstart, Kindergarten and 1st grades) but all Bells Mill families may attend and all siblings are welcome. MCCPTA 2023-2024 Advocacy Priorities

The Montgomery County Council of PTAs (MCCPTA) has put forth their 2023-2024 Proposed Advocacy Priorities for comment by their PTA membership.These priorities provide the framework for the activities and actions that MCCPTA implements on behalf of its roughly 193 PTAs with the intention of making every child’s potential a reality thru engagement with families and communities.
