PTA Meeting Recap

Thanks to the 37 families who joined our PTA meeting this week. We heard a great presentation from Mrs. Kanter on her role as school counselor. We shared information on Black History Month program, which will be posted soon. We also discussed upcoming activities for the spring, including a Playwright in Residence for the 5th grade and Science/STEM Night. Minutes will be posted on the website soon.

Restaurant Night Updates

Thanks to the community for supporting PTA with our recent restaurant nights at Ledo’s and Shake Shack. Last week’s Shake Shack donation day raised $250 for the Bells Mill PTA. Mark your calendar for our next night at Gregorio’s on February 1.

Spirit wear fundraiser wrap-up

Thanks to the Bells Mill community for supporting our spirit wear sale! We were able to raise $865 to support PTA! We also appreciate your donations that allowed us to provide 36 shirts to students in need at Bells Mill!

November PTA Meeting Recap

We held our November PTA meeting on November 2, 2021. We discussed upcoming activities, volunteer opportunities, the MCPS Equity Initiative, and Dr. Smith and Mrs. Kemp answered questions from the community. One week left for our Thanksgiving Food Drive for South Lake ES!

Our sister school, South Lake Elementary School, in Montgomery Village has asked for our help to provide Thanksgiving meals to 40 families from the school who need assistance. The Bells Mill Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and Bells Mill Student Government Association (SGA) are excited to work together to help.

Buy your Ticket for Magic & Muffins! Volunteers Needed! THIS Saturday, 10/30

Join us for Magic & Muffins featuring the magical fun of Professor Fizzwiffle! It will be a fun-filled morning where kids watch a magic show and eat muffins! Although this event is tailored to our younger students, all Bells Mill families may purchase tickets and all siblings are welcome.
