We are one week away from the Bells Mill Bash – our end of year celebration for Bells Mill families. Please review these important updates and things to do ahead of the event.

We are still in need of a number of adult volunteers to assist with setup, cleanup, concession sales, check-in and more. Parent Coaches for 2026-2027 – Girls on the Run/Boys Gotta Run

We are currently looking for parent volunteers/coaches to help lead two of our favorite enrichment programs for students in grades 3–5: Girls on the Run and Boys Gotta Run!

Both programs run during the fall and spring seasons, and we simply cannot offer them without the support of parent volunteers. These programs are a wonderful way to encourage fitness, confidence, teamwork, and fun for our students

Purchase Your Tickets for Bells Mill Bash — June 4

Celebrate the end of the school year with classmates and our school community at the ever-popular Bells Mill Bash on Thursday, June 4 from 5:30-7:30 pm.

Enjoy bounce houses, games, a DJ, and time to picnic with friends over pizza, ice cream, and concessions.

It’s Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week!

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week kicked off today and runs all week. Bells Mill PTA is excited to celebrate our incredible teachers and staff who make our school such a special place for our children. NAACP Parents Council Representative – Volunteer Opportunity

The Bells Mill Elementary School PTA is seeking a parent volunteer to serve as our representative to the NAACP Parents’ Council. The NAACP Parents’ Council works to support equity, access, and excellence for all students across Montgomery County Public Schools. The representative attends monthly evening meetings (typically virtual), shares relevant updates with our community, and brings questions or concerns from Bells Mill families to the broader council. From the PTA: Book Fair Success and Thank You for the Cookies!


Last week’s Literati Book Fair was a wonderful success, and we are thrilled to share that our school community raised nearly $17,000! Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve already been able to put close to $4,000 right back into our school by purchasing new books for the media center and classroom teachers—getting great reads into students’ hands as quickly as possible.
