The Black and Brown Coalition for Educational Equity and Excellence (BBC) is excited to invite you to an important Townhall. This event will feature special guest, MCPS Superintendent Dr. Thomas Taylor, who will discuss key issues affecting our community and schools.
Date: Wednesday, October 23, 2024
Time: 6-8pm (doors will open at 5:30pm)
Location: Wheaton HS Auditorium – 12401 Dalewood Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20906
-Childcare (for up to 80 students, k-2nd grade)
-Catered meal will be provided

Please join us on the blacktop for light breakfast refreshments (donuts, juice, and coffee) before school on October 14 from 8:30am – 9:05am (rain date: October 15). Each Bells Mill Bear can bring one special person to share the morning with.

Bells Mill will be hosting its first Trunk or Treat on October 20 from 4:30pm-6:00pm. Please register using the Signup Genius Link to host a car.
Candy will be provided by the PTA, and pizza is be available for pre-order to support the 5th Grade End of Year Celebrations – link to pre-order pizza. Please review the attached flyer for more information. Costumes are encouraged!
Join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15). Today, students participated in a special Cultural Arts Assembly to honor this important month. We’re inviting Hispanic and/or Latino families to create posters that showcase the diverse countries and cultures we’re celebrating. Ms. Pilar Busto, one of our parents, is helping coordinate these family posters for our school.
