Thank you to the entire Bells Mill community for another fabulous Book Fair! Our “Books in Wonderland” was truly a wonderland–the kids had fun, the teachers and staff were amazing, and the volunteers and parents helped make it a true success! Through the generosity of the Bells Mill community, the Book Fair raised $19,069 — even more than last year–resulting in $10,488 in Scholastic dollars (which means books!) for the Media Center and the school.
A special thanks to the more than 40 volunteers who helped set up and break down the Fair, decorated, re-shelved books, ran the registers, and assisted students and shoppers.… Read Full Post

We had a great first general meeting of the 2019-2020 Bells Mill PTA last night! Thanks to all who attended. We had a fantastic, enthusiastic showing from our Bells Mill community. Let’s keep it up!

Do you have questions about your child’s school? Do you want to meet other parents and get informed and involved? Come to our first Parent Teacher Association (PTA) meeting of the year. We’ll be discussing the allocation of PTA funds to support the new curriculum with technology resources. The Cultural Arts Assemblies Committee is reviewing and selecting cultural events for 2019-2020! The committee needs volunteers to attend the Cultural Arts Showcases offered by MCPS on October 2nd, 3th, and 7th. During these showcases various performing companies approved by the County make 15-minute presentations. Come join your friends and classmates for our first Restaurant Night for this school year at Shake Shack! Come in ALL DAY (11a – 9p) and show them this flyer and they will donate 25% of proceeds to the Bells Mill PTA!
