Presentations will include:
- Overview of the magnet application process and how to support parents at your schools in navigating the process.
- Overview of opportunities for enriched and accelerated instruction in local (non-magnet) schools at elementary, middles, and high school levels.
- An update on the rollout of Curriculum 2.0, including the Compacted Grades Math 4/5 and Compacted Grades Math 5/6 classes.
- Common Core State Standards and gifted education.
- PARCC assessments and gifted education.
- Standards-Based Report Card and gifted education.
