MCPS is proposing an earlier start date for the 2017–2018 school year. The recommended date, Aug. 21, 2017, would be two weeks prior to Labor Day and one week prior to the traditional start of the school year for MCPS. All students at Bells Mill Elementary are eligible to enter this amazing arts competition, and everyone is permitted to submit as many entries as they wish, in as many categories as they want! Just be sure to follow the specific requirements for each category and make sure your creations directly reflect upon the 2015-2016 theme Let Your Imagination Fly.

The deadline to submit your artwork is November 19, 2015 (no extensions). Submission should include completed student entry form, artwork/hard-copy when applicable, and 2 CDs of digital soft-copies each labeled clearly with student’s name, category and title of work.… Read Full Post

Thank you to the over 30 families that hosted country tables, gave a cultural performance or volunteered in other ways to make the International Festival a remarkable event. Thank you to all the visitors who came to experience the world tour. We are so proud to be a part of this generous community. $319 was collected in charitable donations for relief efforts in Nepal.
