Churchill Football & Commanders Friday Night Feature

Join us this Friday night as our 6-1 Bulldogs football team celebrates their Senior Night as they take on rival Wootton. The Bulldogs will be joined by the Washington Commanders traveling “Friday Night Feature” group to celebrate this big matchup. The Commanders will be bringing Washington football Legends, Cheerleaders, Major Tuddy and more! Thank you to those who have already taken the time to fill out the BMES questionnaire. Based on community feedback (from more than 190 families so far!), the message is overwhelming support for keeping Bells Mill students together at Cabin John MS (options C or D) and not splitting them between two middle schools (options A or B). In particular, options A or B raise significant safety concerns; under these options, children who live within walking distance of Cabin John MS would instead go to Hoover MS, requiring unsafe crossings of a busy Tuckerman Lane for those without bus service, or bus rides for those who live over 1.5 miles from Hoover but could otherwise walk to Cabin John.… Read Full Post

Buy Your Bingo Night Tickets Now!

Bingo Night is scheduled for November 6 from 5.30-7pm, and tickets for this ever-popular event are now on sale for PTA members.

This fun family event always sells out, so reserve your bingo cards, pizza and cookies early! Join our celebrity callers and Bells Mill community for a family night out with pizza dinner, bingo and fun prizes.

Ticket sales will open to non-PTA members on October 27.

Trunk or Treat—Please RSVP and Host a Trunk

Bells Mill PTA is hosting a Trunk or Treat for all our families. The event will be on Saturday, October 25, 4:30pm-6:30pm in the school parking lot. Costumes are encouraged!

To ensure we have enough candy for everyone, please register your child(ren) for this event by October 21—we want to make sure that no one goes home empty-handed!

MCPS is conducting a boundary study to determine the attendance boundaries for the new Crown High School in Gaithersburg, beginning in the 2027-2028 school year. Breakfast with Bears Moved to Tuesday October 14

As we suspected, given the rain and wind forecast for this Monday, Breakfast with Bears will be rescheduled to Tuesday, October 14. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate this unusual fall weather!

On Tuesday morning, donuts, juice, and Starbucks coffee will be served from 8:30am to 9:05am. Water will be available to fill up your water bottles.

A couple of reminders:
1. Please do not park in the bus loop.
