Join other Bells Mill parents for a fun DIY workshop at Hammer & Stain! There are lots of cool projects to choose from and a portion of the proceeds go back to the BMES PTA! Camp Bells Mill will be taking place this summer from July 6 through July 24. The hours will be 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. This is a local school summer camp with learning experiences for our incoming Kindergarten through fifth grade. Pre-registration materials will be coming soon. Kindergarten Orientation for the 20-21 school year for Bells Mill Elementary School is scheduled for Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May 5th! Kindergarten orientation is an opportunity to help parents/families with enrollment processes, and to provide a small peek into the world of kindergarten at Bells Mill Elementary School! The Bells Mill PTA would like to thank the entire school community for making read-a-thon such a success! The students enjoyed two weeks immersed in literacy – from the book quotes on the morning announcements to mid-day DEAR time to nightly videos of bedtime stories on Facebook. The students logged an impressive 250,000 minutes! We hope your students enjoyed the extra emphasis on reading. The PTA Recess Committee needs your help in providing teachers indoor recess games and supplies. We have wish lists for all of the teachers that signed up and we would be grateful for either donations of gently used games/supplies or purchases of new items from Amazon Smile.
Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you’ve got great photos of school and community events (please do not submit pictures taken at birthday parties or i.e. sleepovers) we’d like to see them. Our photographers can’t be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.
