Congrats to BMES Odyssey of the Mind teams!

Bells Mill students on eight teams competed at the Odyssey of the Mind State Tournament on Sunday, March 18. Our school remains the largest Odyssey organization in the state! Of our five Division 1 teams, two received first place trophies and one received second place trophy to add to Mrs. O’s growing collection. These teams are all eligible to compete at the World Finals in May, representing Bells Mill and Maryland. Congratulations go to all 57 participants in Odyssey of the Mind: having so many performing was quite an achievement for Bells Mill, and every one of them should be proud of their accomplishment, their sportsmanship, and for representing our school well.

Safety Meeting – Information Slides

Last week, BMES held a meeting about safety and security at the school.  Information about MCPS protocols as well as specific measures taken by BMES were covered.  See the slides that were presented last week here.  There will be a follow up in the PTA meeting next week so we encourage all parents to attend.
