Calling all Bells Mill student talent; it’s time to shine! The world famous, annual BMES PTA Talent Show is on February 6 at Cabin John Middle School at 6pm (there will be one talent show for all grades). If your child (or your child with a group) would like to participate in the Talent Show, please complete the Google Form.
Everyone is invited to participate, but due to time constraints each student can participate in only one performance (e.g., either a solo act or an act with a group, but not both)! Performances are limited to 3 minutes. Mandatory rehearsals will be held after school on February 4 and/or February 5 from 4:30-5:30pm. You must be able to attend one of the rehearsals. On the rehearsal dates we will be walking the children from Bells Mill to Cabin John Middle School so you must sign this waiver in order for us to bring your child to CJMS. Pickup after rehearsal will be at Cabin John Middle School. See this flyer (with clickable links) for all the details.
We are looking for volunteers to help with rehearsals and run the talent show. Please sign up here.
Finally, we are looking for three 5th grade students to act as emcees at the show and three to four additional 5th grade students to assist as stage crew (help during the talent show to set up each act). Please email jwsorrenti@gmail.com if you have a 5th grader who is interested in these positions (you can be an emcee or a stage hand and still perform).
