Join us on zoom on Wednesday, April 14 at 2PM for a hands on cooking class! We’ll learn to make a mango lassi, which is a traditional South Asian beverage. Register at bmes.eventbrite.com.

1 1⁄2 or 3 large ripe mangoes, peeled and cut into chunks (can use jarred or frozen if you prefer)
2 1⁄4 or 4 1⁄2 cups plain yogurt
3 or 6 Tbsp honey, plus more to taste
2 1⁄4 or 1 tsp cardamom, plus extra for sprinkling/garnish

April is Autism Acceptance Month! Bells Mill is honored to be home to an amazing program to support the needs of students with autism. On Thursday, April 15 we invite the Bells Mill community to wear blue to show acceptance of autism and celebrate differences. The class with the highest participation will win a virtual movie party! Join our virtual BMES International Festival to celebrate the diversity of the Bells Mill Community!
Last Saturday the kindergarten and first grade families marveled at a virtual magic show with Magic Evan while enjoying their homemade muffins! We introduced this event last year to meet the interests of our younger students and allow parents a chance to share in a school event with their children. We are grateful to parent volunteers Amanda Klueger and Jessica McClellan for organizing this great opportunity!

The PTA is excited to invite Kindergarten and 1st Grade families to a special virtual event. Bake muffins at home and enjoy a virtual magic show with MAGIC EVAN! Although this event is tailored to kindergarten and 1st grade students, older and younger siblings are welcome. It will be held Saturday, March 20 at 11:00 am. Muffin recipe and zoom link to follow.
