Elevate the Future @ PHS is hosting classes again this school year! ETF PHS is an educational non-profit organization based in Poolesville, Maryland, with the mission to bridge the equity gap for students interested in computer science and/or business by striving to create quality lessons that are both free and accessible for all students. Both courses will be available for students to participate on their preferred device (personal or school-issued). No extra materials will be needed for the course. If you are interested in a simple introduction to Python or an introduction to business and entrepreneurship, register at this link.
For students already with prior Python experience, ETF PHS will be hosting Codewave, a free coding competition for students in grades 3-8 at the Gaithersburg Library on Sunday, October 5, from 2:15pm to 3:45pm. Students can participate on their preferred device (personal or school-issued). No extra materials will be needed for the event. Prizes will be awarded to the top three so register at this link.
