Our sister school, South Lake Elementary School, in Montgomery Village has asked for our help to provide Thanksgiving meals to 30 families from the school who need assistance. We are also hoping to provide meals for 21 families in our own community. To date we have only collected 16 meals so we could really use your help! Please donate as soon as possible so we can plan our donations, but no later than Sunday.
South Lake is currently in a holding school while their building is being rebuilt. As a result, they do not have space for their typical food pantry and it is harder for families to get to the school. Because of this we are *only* accepting donations to sponsor full Thanksgiving meal boxes that will be provided directly to the families ($35 each) on Monday.
We have again partnered with Nourish Now, a local non-profit that provides food assistance to families in the community. Each family will receive corn, green beans, sweet potatoes, broth, macaroni & cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, cranberry sauce, gravy, and a turkey.

This is our third Thanksgiving supporting SLES and the first time we have also provided meals within the Bells Mill community. We appreciate the generosity of those who are able to help!
