The Bells Mill family is growing by welcoming our new sister school, South Lake Elementary in Gaithersburg! Through this partnership, the schools will work together to support and enhance the educational opportunities for all of our children.
Our students are collecting food items and donations to support our new sister school by providing Thanksgiving meals to fifty families!
There are two ways to help! You are welcome to pick from either option or donate in both ways.
Bring in the non-perishable food items listed below by grade. Please bring items by Thursday, Nov. 21st to your child’s classroom donation box.
Donate $25 to purchase a meal! Your donation will contribute towards a complete meal including turkey. See the flyer attached for details. Please make checks payable to: Bells Mill Elementary
Please donate the following items by sending the items listed for your child’s grade to their classroom. All items will be collected on Friday, Nov. 22nd.
1 Can of Cranberry Sauce
1 bag of white rice
2 cans of whole kernel corn
1 box stuffing mix (please no bags of stuffing mix)
2 cans of green beans
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can of turkey gravy
1 box instant mashed potatoes
1 can Frenchs Onions (or any fried onions brand)
1 can of black beans
1 box of spice cake mix (or other cake mix flavor)
1 can cream cheese frosting
